Well, I actually want the original.Too bad I have to wait for 75% of you to be disappointed first! BTW, the image is Not misleading, nor is the text. Always remember that these things are constantly being rereleased... Hence the 2012.

Well, I guess I'm about the 1000th person to wait in line for this one and then find out it is NOT the 2012 version, after all. The title AND the description are very misleading!

i love the lorax it is such an awesome movie!

learn to read the description first

I rushed over to the librabry and went out of my way to get this! I was upset to see it was the one back in 1973. What a waste of time to go pick it up!!

wish I would have read the comments. I also thought this was the movie. It isn't. My kids did like it but I was disappointed.

I agree that it was very disappointing to wait for this movie, only to find out that it wasn’t the new one. Yet, it did hold my 4-year old granddaughter’s interest. It would be great if the library software would be able to import the hold list to the new one when they do receive the new one, so that those who were waiting forever, won’t need to go back to the bottom of the list.

not the new movie... how disappointing.. had to wait forever to get it :(

This is not the new Lorax movie - the one from the creators of Despicable Me (which hasn't released on DVD yet.) This is a 38 minute remake of the old cartoon version.

Its not the new 2012 movie but it was good.
