The brilliant Lucas Davenport thriller from the number one New York Times bestselling author. Lucas Davenport has seen many terrible murder scenes. This is one of the worst. In the Minnesota town of Wayzata, an entire family has been killed#151;husband, wife, two kids, dogs. On the wall, in blood: #147;Were coming." No apostrophe. There's something about the scene that tugs at Lucas's cop instincts#151;it looks an awful lot like the kind of scorched-earth retribution he's seen from Mexican drug gangs. But this is a seriously upscale town, the husband ran a modest software company, the wife dabbled in local politics. None of it seems to fit. Until it does#133;

Enjoyable as always. This book made a long wait in an airport bearable. I would love to see more of Letty, she is such an interesting character and her debut is one of my favourite Prey books. Looking forward to the next one.

Another solid outing by John Sandford and Lucas Davenport. This one lacks the gallows humour and cop characters that enlivened his earlier Prey books, but the story is gripping and the villains are perfectly creepy.

I always look forward to new additions to the "Prey' series, and this one was a very enjoyable read, as usual.

I found this book great. A little slow beginning but ended well. Lucas Davenport is great, but I like he the author links his other characters into the story. Up to date action.
