I couldn't have been more surprised that I found this movie absolutely hilarious. What works best here is the way it takes all the conventions and turns them on their heads. The leads are terrific, the supporting cast is hysterical (particularly Ice Cube), but I personally didn't care for the cameos one bit. It's a bit long, certainly profane, definitely ridiculous, but I laughed like a loon the entire time.

Solid cheezy fun. More sight gags, as opposed to witty dialogue.

World class dud. I normally don't like action comedy blends, and the dumber the comedy, the less I like it-as in this case.

There are hardly any similarities between “21 Jump Street” and the series of the same name. The movie has some light humor but, in the end, there is little that is funny about two men acting like teenagers.

It was funny enough to watch once. the only reason i gave it 3 stars was because of a cameo...which i won't give away.

Jonyy Depp was in this movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A great comedy that pays homage to the eighties TV show without ignoring the passage of time since then. Beautifully handled and genuinely funny. I recommend it for older teens and adults.

In high school, Schmidt (Jonah Hill) was a dork and Jenko (Channing Tatum) was the popular jock. After graduation, both of them joined the police force and ended up as partners riding bicycles in the city park. Since they are young and look like high school students, they are assigned to an undercover unit to infiltrate a drug ring that is supplying high school students synthetic drugs.

21 Jump Street Trailer

n the action-comedy "21 Jump Street", Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum) are more than ready to leave their adolescent problems behind. Joining the police force and the secret Jump Street unit, they use their youthful appearances to go undercover in a local high school. As they trade in their guns and badges for backpacks, Schmidt and Jenko risk their lives to investigate a violent and dangerous drug ring. But they find that high school is nothing like they left it just a few years earlier - and neither expects that they will have to confront the terror and anxiety of being a teenager again and all the issues they thought they had left behind.
