Add a CommentI did not enjoy this movie...truly love Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds but this movies has too much blood, shooting and death....
A murky look at the ethically-challenged exploits of the intelligence/covert ops community. Tobin Frost (Denzel Washington) is a disaffected (and ruthless), ex-CIA operative, who split the program a decade earlier, and has been selling out the company ever since. Matt Weston (Ryan Reynolds) is a relatively inexperienced "housekeeper" who maintains a South African "safe house" for "field emergencies". When the house is hit by an unidentified commando unit that assassinates the cadre holding Frost, Weston ends up with a dangerous rogue agent in his custody. The two men are locked in a deadly battle of wits, while shadowy teams zero in, determined to remove them both from the equation.
Cracking film--action and intrigue all the way through. Ryan Reynolds shows he can act.
I'm not really into action movies but I love Ryan Reynolds so I gave this movie a shot its pretty decent.
Very good action scenes. Very good plot. Very good acting. Very good directing. Very good movie all around.
very good
I really liked this one. Car chases, explosions,mystery-whats not to like. One of the better films I've seen in a while
This one is very predictable and so it's not really worth watching. The actors do a decent job, but the screenwriting isn't good at all.
Very watchable.
Non-stop action thriller after the first few minutes of mundane introduction of a CIA "Safe House" keeper in Cape Town.
