Of the films in this series that I have seen, none of them have been good quality films and so the comments by stars and co-stars about enjoying the process of making this film do little to impress me about each of the actors including Eugene Levy.

The film largely is unwatchable.

Easily the weakest of the quadrilogy.
I do not recall ever actually laughing.

I really have to stop watching these movies - at the end I just think about the 1.5hrs that I wasted of my life.

Worst of the four "real" American Pie movies (no straight to DVD releases included). Had a few laughs and it was sweet to see all of the original cast back together. That being said, it lacked any of the shock value of the other three films. I don't consider it a complete failure, but I feel they could have done much better. If you watched the other three and liked/loved them, watch this one. If you barely enjoyed the others, skip it.

Skip It – American Reunion (2012) [aka American Pie: Reunion] 113 min. This worn out juvenile comedy had its day way back in 1999 and proceeded the original with a an equally good sequel but then began fall flat with the 2003 release of American Wedding and still hasn’t found any reason to remain alive with this latest instalment. And the reason why the first American Pie worked despite it lewdness was that it was comedically fresh. The jokes are the same; the situations are the same – why on Earth would we need to watch the same rehashed humour. Stiffler is probably the only reason to watch these movies and even his character loses steam by the second act in American Reunion.
