I couldn't believe my eyes that this book came out, I mean, come on, you can't get much better than this! . . . Or can it? But I thought it was an outstanding book with more than enough Leo Valdez(love him!), Piper McLean, and Jason Grace, the new demigods are very different and interesting.

I really enjoyed the book, and I am currently reading the second one, Son of Neptune. I kinda liked the Percy Jackson series better because it was in first person and only had one main character. But I like how Rick Riordan wove Percy, Annabeth and others from the previous series into this one. A really well written book, 4 1/2 stars.

both of the Percy Jackson series are the best book series ever! by far. I recommend them to anybody, though I would read the first series before the second. That way you can catch all the little hints to events in the first series. A must read, for sure.

Not as funny as the Percy Jackson series. And maybe it's because of Riordan's choice to use third person, but I feel like I can't relate to the characters. Jason doesn't have much of a personality. Piper is ridiculously silly and shallow--For example, in that scene where Piper talks about how she wouldn't neccesarily want Jason to get his memory back in case he had a girlfriend in his other life. What. The. Heck. The poor boy has AMNESIA and is questioning his own identity--and you SELFISHLY don't want him to remember anything? Out of the 3 main characters, Leo is the only one tolerable, and I appreciate Riordan's attempt to re-make the typical comedic sidekick, but overall, not very impressive.

Jason has a problem. He doesn't remember anything before waking up in a bus full of kids on a field trip. Apparently he has a girlfriend named Piper, and his best friend is a guy named Leo. They're all students at the Wilderness School a boarding school for "bad kids," as Leo puts it. Piper has a secret. Her father, a famous actor, has been missing for three days, ever since she has that terrifying nightmare about him being in trouble. Piper doesn't understand her dream, or why her boyfriend suddenly doesn't recognize her. When a freak storm hits during the school trip, unleashing strange creatures and whisking her, Jason, and Leo away to someplace called Camp Half-Blood. she has a feeling she's going to find out, whether she wants to or not. Leo has a way with tools. When he sees his cabin in Camp Half-Blood, filled with power tools and machine parts, he feels right at home. But there's weird stuff, too-like the curse everyone keeps talking about, and some camper who's gone missing. Weirdest of all, his bunkmates insist that each of them-including Leo-is related to a god. Does this have anything to do with Jason's amnesia, or the fact that Leo keeps seeing ghosts?

Leo, Jason, and Piper are friends far from normal and embark on a awesome quest to save the Greek goddess Hera from a giant and revenge hungry Titan Gaia.

This Book was phenomenon! This book revealed most of the secrets from the Percy Jackson Series. This book just brilliant! i had so much fun reading this book. I am dieing to read the second book. this book had so many secrets and so much action that i was devouring each word. Every page was full of shock and exicement! In this book, there were three young heros that found out that they each have an extrodinary past and they are each one of the 7 strongest demigods of the age. With the Titans defeated in the the Percy Jackson Series, the wrost is yet to come. this book was about the Roman and the Greek gods. As you read this book, you will be shocked by two extrodinary secrets. these secrets will make you heart jump out of your crest! if this was part of the Percy jackson series, i would pick this for the top book. Just amazing. Rick Riordan is getting better at his series. I 100% recomend this book. but before you read this book, you should read the entire Percy Jackson series.

Thisa book showcases three heroes Jason, Piper and Leo in there quest to please Hera and defeat the evil earth goddess Gea ( more prounounced in the second book The Son Of Neptune) as Jason tries to get his memory back and Annebeth searches for Percy this book takes you to amazing hights!!!! I reccomend it to anyone who has read the first serieas and i think this is a book for tweens teens and anyone in between!!!! Highly reccomended!!!!

The Lost Hero was written by Rick Riordan, who also wrote the Percy Jackson series. This book includes the same characters as the Percy Jackson series and some new characters. There is also a new camp for Roman half bloods. In this new series there are very interesting secrets to be discovered.
