Very well thought out, very well written. My only criticism is, it feels like Riordan originally had no intention of doing a sequel series to the Percy Jackson series, and it was only after the PJ series was completed that he decided to write about Jason Grace. Some parts read like a five-year-old changing his story about how the lamp -actually- got broken; it wasn't -just- the cat, the dog was in on it too. If that makes sense. Five stars, in any case. I do recommend this book, especially to those who read the Percy Jackson series. I've just put a hold on the second book.

I enjoy his books because of the modern mythological twists! I highly adore this series and the Percy Jackson series! Rick Riordan did a fantastic job at portraying the thoughts and feelings of teenaged demigods! Waytogo Mr. Riordan!

The Lost Hero is equally funny and action-packed. Even if you haven't read Percy Jackson and the Olympians, you should still be able to enjoy it somewhat, though there will be little mentions of other characters and things like that that you wouldn't understand as well.

Amazing book! I like Piper's traits and I would give anything to be a daughter of Aphrodite! However, I hate the part where Percy is missing. My favourite character... Nevertheless, the addition if new characters- Jason, Leo, Piper is great.

Jason has a problem. He doesn't remember anything before waking up in a bus full of kids on a field trip. Apparently he has a girlfriend named Piper, and his best friend is a guy named Leo. They're all students at the Wilderness School a boarding school for "bad kids," as Leo puts it. Piper has a secret. Her father, a famous actor, has been missing for three days, ever since she has that terrifying nightmare about him being in trouble. Piper doesn't understand her dream, or why her boyfriend suddenly doesn't recognize her. When a freak storm hits during the school trip, unleashing strange creatures and whisking her, Jason, and Leo away to someplace called Camp Half-Blood. she has a feeling she's going to find out, whether she wants to or not. Leo has a way with tools. When he sees his cabin in Camp Half-Blood, filled with power tools and machine parts, he feels right at home. But there's weird stuff, too-like the curse everyone keeps talking about, and some camper who's gone missing. Weirdest of all, his bunkmates insist that each of them-including Leo-is related to a god. Does this have anything to do with Jason's amnesia, or the fact that Leo keeps seeing ghosts?

Leo, Jason, and Piper are friends far from normal and embark on a awesome quest to save the Greek goddess Hera from a giant and revenge hungry Titan Gaia.

This Book was phenomenon! This book revealed most of the secrets from the Percy Jackson Series. This book just brilliant! i had so much fun reading this book. I am dieing to read the second book. this book had so many secrets and so much action that i was devouring each word. Every page was full of shock and exicement! In this book, there were three young heros that found out that they each have an extrodinary past and they are each one of the 7 strongest demigods of the age. With the Titans defeated in the the Percy Jackson Series, the wrost is yet to come. this book was about the Roman and the Greek gods. As you read this book, you will be shocked by two extrodinary secrets. these secrets will make you heart jump out of your crest! if this was part of the Percy jackson series, i would pick this for the top book. Just amazing. Rick Riordan is getting better at his series. I 100% recomend this book. but before you read this book, you should read the entire Percy Jackson series.

Thisa book showcases three heroes Jason, Piper and Leo in there quest to please Hera and defeat the evil earth goddess Gea ( more prounounced in the second book The Son Of Neptune) as Jason tries to get his memory back and Annebeth searches for Percy this book takes you to amazing hights!!!! I reccomend it to anyone who has read the first serieas and i think this is a book for tweens teens and anyone in between!!!! Highly reccomended!!!!

The Lost Hero was written by Rick Riordan, who also wrote the Percy Jackson series. This book includes the same characters as the Percy Jackson series and some new characters. There is also a new camp for Roman half bloods. In this new series there are very interesting secrets to be discovered.

Jason lost his memory. All he knows is his name. He is sent to Camp Half Blood, the Greek camp for demi-gods. It seems very familiar, yet not quite right. Shortly after his arrival at camp, Jason is sent on a quest, with his new-found friends Piper and Leo, to save the kidnapped goddess Hera from the giants. Will he succeed in freeing the kidnapped goddess, or die trying?
