When I got this book, I was expecting a predictable, chick-flick, 3-star rating book. I was wrong. I immediately fell in love with the characters, and the story is so well described and written I had to pull an all nighter because I wanted to read it so badly. I highly recommend this book to anyone, it's a very satisfying read!

This book was one of the best books I have ever read. I couln't put it down, finished it in two days! The setting is absoluty perfect! I've been to Paris and i love the way the book captures all the great parts of the city and how that relates to the story. It's very heartwarming, but still hilarious at times. Would definately recommen this book!

This book was amazing. I like how all the characters are so realistic, how everything in the book is described so realistically. I love how Anna called St. Clair "Etienne" and how they helped each other. How they were friends but also falling for each other but neither actually admitted (...). How things were so complicated yet so life-like and simple! Anna and St Clair are awesome characters (I liked how Matt was a good friend to Anna). Families, friends and "crushes" were represented very good as well in terms of how realistic/life-like they were. I definitely recommend this book! This book made me eager to go to Paris and it’s a really cool story about love!

Really awesome book! I love how both Anna and St. Clair sort of fell for each other at the same time.

An absolute treat! I read this book in two days and couldn't get enough. The combination of romance and travel and humor was so fun to read. I thought Anna was relateable and easy going. Etienne St. Clair definitely sounds like a sexpot and I fell in love with him instantly. If they adapted this book into a movie, it would be such an aesthetically-pleasing, fantastic movie. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a light, fun, absorbing read.

I read this book twice I liked it so much! Despite a somewhat juvenile title, the book is an excellent story of a girl growing up and finding herself. It reminded me sweetly of how I met my husband. Anna becomes a very strong woman and good role model for young ladies. I plan on adding this one permanently to my book collection!

A strongly written book whose characters sound so real, you wonder if you've met them in real life, or if you might trip across them sometime soon. Each person is complex, sometimes annoying, definitely refreshing and grows throughout the course of the book. The dialogue is natural, so is the interplay between the various people and how their relationships change and shift. Perfectly written, great book.

This book was one of the best books I've ever read. The story is very unpredictable. I couldn't put it down, I had to keep reading until the end. The best part is that it is set in the city of love, Paris. If you are looking for love, read Anna and the French Kiss to be inspired.

Anna is sent to a school in Paris by her father. She is afraid at first. She cannot speak French, nor does she act French. She is without her family in the “city of light and love”. She misses her friends and family in the beginning but then quickly makes friends. Mer introduces her the “Chocolat Chaud” (meaning hot chocolate, not Chocolate show). Anna also meets an American-French-English boy named Etienne St Clair. Despite her crush on Toph (the guy she kissed back in Atlanta), she finds herself falling for St Clair. At first, they become really close friends. But things start to get complicated when they are left alone for Thanksgiving break. Anna knows Etienne is dating Ellie and he knows there might be something going on between Anna and Toph. Will they end up together or will they realize it’s best to stay friends?

ST Clair:“That guys. Sideburns. You like him?" ANNA: "You've asked me that before." ST Clair:"What I meant was," your feelings haven't changed? Since you've been here?" ANNA:"It's not a matter of how I feel. I'm interested, but ... I don't know if he's still interested in me." ST Clair:"Does he still call?" ANNA:"Yeah. I mean, not often. But yes." ST Clair:"Right. Right, well, there's your answer.” ANNA:“I should go. I’m sure you have plans with Ellie. ST Clair:“Yes. I mean, no. Imean, I don’t know. If you aren’t doing any-” ANNA:“So I’ll see you later. Thank-you for the Canadian Citizenship.”
