I could not put it down. Sookie has so much drama in her life. Great characters and fun story. I loved the mystery aspect of this book and you finally get to meet Eric's fiance. I can't wait to read the last book.

So much drama! Poor Sookie, nothing seems to going right and as usual she is stuck right in the middle! And all around her birthday.. The series is coming to an end, and the loose ends are starting to weave themselves together. Great…

Sookie is not a happy camper in this book which made the story drag quite a bit. Most of the time she is having an internal dialogue so there is less interaction with the other characters that we know & love. The storyline was obvious in…

Definitely not my favorite of the series. The plot was slow and the characters were not themselves. Hopefully the last book will tie up loose ends.

Okay quick read, but yes it is time for the series to end.

Deadlock is boring. Solving it is fun.

Not as good as some ofthe earlier ones. I'm actually kind of glad the series is ending-I think it's time. Will enjoy the last book to (hopefully) resolve Sookie's love-life options!

SO DISAPPOINTED. Is this the same writer?!? This has to be worst of the series. Sookie was 'uncharacteristic' at least for half the book. Eric too. So many things didn't quite fit right. The fae storyline was choppy, the Felipe one…

1 more book to go and the series is over....not sure which way she is taking this. Still an enjoyable series. Glad that TrueBlood is on tv.

I enjoyed the book a lot and can't wait for the next one. I did find Sookie kind of doing a lot of calling the kettle black. If someone else uses her property without asking first it's just rude but she can't find it to feel bad a man ( a…

seems less and less joy in the last 2 books, feels like the ending of the series can't come fast enough. i probably done with it. the ending of the book didn't trill me, i just don't find sam that much interesting. sad.

The plot in this book just seemed so incredibly dry compared the the earlier books in the series. As this series goes on in fact, it becomes harder and harder for me to recall what exactly happened in each of the previous books. They've…

I felt I kept waiting for the plot to begin and found I was almost 3/4 of the way through and nothing had happened yet. First few books in this series were the best.

Have to agree with some of the posts that the ending for me gave the book 3 out of 5 stars. Again, just a quick fun read without any thought to it. I am even beginning to appreciate that Harris reiterates things that happened in other…

Poor Sookie Stackhouse! So many conflicting decisions going on in her life. This was yet another quick but relatively fun read. Still get hung up on the weird stilted writing, but that is my hang up. One worries about the future of the…

This book was kinda freakin' awesome. Harris turned everything around by revealing great master plots, exposing traitors who've been "friends" and really complicating things at the end with the big decision made by Sookie. It was…

So, this book has gotten alot of bad reviews, but I can't for the life of me see what the negativity is all about. I read alot that Sookie just ran around running errands the whole book, which she did, but it was balanced by the emotional…

This wasn't the best of the series, but I'm hooked until the very end. I heard that Harris is going to end the series with one more book coming out in 2013.

Amazing! Better than the last few. Totally didn't see the ending coming in this one. And Sookie wasn't super annoying!!

Very dissapointed with ths instalment of the Sookie Stackhouse novels. It felt like there were too many uninteresting things happening in this one. Barely any interaction between Sookie and Erik. I expected more from Harris!

Very easy to read, lots happening, not as good as the earlier books. Hopefully will all be finished soon

One can sense that Harris is nearing the end of the highly entertaining Sookie Stackhouse series. Loose ends are being tied-- something that makes this read of the 12th book in the series both satisfying and nostalgic. Although it may be a…

I was very excited to finally get to read this book, but I find myself struggling to get past the first few chapters. Which is unusual because I couldn't put the other sookie books down. I really hope that it gets better.
