Dialogue and characters could have been developed better.
Not a real interesting read, but I did finish it.

Jackie becomes widow, husband died working with NYFD. She and son Charlie go to visit her mom on island off Carolinas. Narative switches between mother/daughter. Well written, enjoyable, warm fuzzy ending.
