This was a surprisingly interesting film even though it is based on two things which might seem rather boring: a play which was in turn based on an actual TV interview. Good writing can make mundane things fascinating and intriguing.

Lot's of good comments about this film. Times and news back then was very different. I was in my early 30's and focusing on my career, family and enjoying life and did not pay much attention to politics. My thoughts even back then was…

Not the most interesting topic or subject for me! Well-dramatized time in history of the President Nixon! It's good to watch it more than once to get all the nuances! There actors, the cinematographers, and the director, all did a great…

Reprising their stage roles as Frost and Nixon, Michael Sheen and Frank Langella are thoroughly convincing as a tabloid gadabout in way over his head and an unnervingly intense politician weighed down by too many guilty secrets. Their…

Though it has its strengths (Nixon was good, the interview showdowns were handled well), overall I have my reservations about this film. Frost's portrayal as a bit of a hero (rather than just an idiot in the right place at the right time)…

Although I recall watching these interviews many years ago, the film was absolutely riveting. Great backround story of a memorable event. Very well done.

Well done piece from Ron Howard and Peter Morgan. I was unaware of the behind the scenes motivation for the standoff between these two (effectively $$, I suppose). Frank Langella was excellent as "Tricky Dick".

Ron Howard gathered the talent for this film, and mostly stays out of their way. Michael Sheen plays the naturally inexpressive Frost, in a way that makes him understandable. In the extras, Frank Langella mentions there are several ways to…

Very good. This film was funny, well-acted, shot and thought out. Definitely worth seeing. Contrary to Awake88's opinion, I think that this film is suitable for any audience.

This film constitutes director Ron Howard’s disappointing attempt to turn Sir David Frost’s 1977 series of interviews with the deposed Richard Nixon into a gargantuan prize fight. Both script & acting are to blame for Michael Sheen’s…
