Although I feel like the story might not be the most original there is something very heart warming about this comic. The art is simple but very effective. I find that alot of other comics rely on text alot to tell the story or to reveal people's feelings but Lepp really takes advantage of the visual nature of comics/graphic novels.

Continues the good work from Volume 1, good atmospheric drawing and an interesting story with interesting, and interestingly drawn, characters. It's close to steampunk, although it takes place in a sort of high tech 30s or 40s in the Canadian plains, or somewhere like rural Nebraska. The flying sequences are the best, like Iron Man in the movies.
