I kept reading this series because of the first two books but by now the characters have become caricatured and unenjoyable. The writing is tedious and I grew intensely irritated at the constant use of 'little' when describing Wynn. The little sage, with her little hands. Who is presumptuous, graceless and a liability but I believe we are supposed to find her endearing. OMG. David Eddings used to do that with 'tiny' . And omniscient villians that never die. By the last one thiord, I was just flipping the pages - I really didn't care who lived or never died.
