This is the first book I’ve ever read from Lynn Austin and I already love her style of writing.
I absolutely loved this book! Since the first few chapters I was already so hooked into the story and crying over so many parts in the book.
I love how the book stays true to the biblical information that we know while also adding so many amazing moments that just blend everything together and make it believable.
I also absolutely loved the ending and how after so many years Hezekiah finally remembers God and decides to obey Him.

Start with this, go on to Song of Redemption, Book 2 of the series.
Finish the series with Book 3 the Strength of His Hand.

Lynn Austin has always been a favorite author of mine. She does a great job of telling biblical stories and always leaves me wanting to read the next in the series. This book was no exception. For those who enjoy "biblical fiction", you will not be disappointed.
