Native Bahamian and historian Paul Albury writes a comprehensive story of the Bahamas. This book is well researched and reads more like a novel. It covers from the Lucayans (original inhabitants) to European invaders, pirates, colonial times, rum running, and right up until independence. A good book to read for anybody thinking of visiting and wanting to know more about the area and its history.
