Forced to give up his land and home, Texas rancher Red Bovie is not about to retire quietly in a trailer park. Instead he jumps in his Cadillac and hits the road with his estranged grandson for one last wild adventure filled with guns, women and booze. It's just another night in old Mexico.

Add a Commentloved Duvall , the rest of the movie sucked
Good Duvall performance, but dull plot that was drawn out too long.
A role that only Robert Duvall could play. I was not sure what was supposed to come down at the beginning of the movie with the drugs for cash?????? Maybe a double cross. Lots of twists and turns when it comes to drugs and money in old Mexico.
Surprised my JCL has only 4 copies of this 2014 movie ~ ~ ~
The story began with promise of intrigue and fun but decayed to a bore, just a wrinkled stiffy grandpa behaving badly ... the attraction between an octogenarian and a young woman was almost disturbing, especially in the presence of the vital grandson.
The adventurous road trip was okay but can do without the kookie attraction of a pretty younger woman to a drunk old wrinkled octogenarian.
An okay Robert Duval movie in my opinion.
Sad, Robert Duvall has made many good to great movies but he is wasted here. The film is a "buddy", " good v bad
guy", silly mess. Forget this and watch Lonesome Dove again.
