Mr. Postmouse delivers packages to a bunch of animals all living in charming houses. We can see the interiors of these houses within a shell of their outer walls, and the indoor spaces don't make any sort of sense spatially - it's funny and delightful.
So much to talk about, this book has a search and find feel, my co-worker Cody read it RIGHT after me and he pointed out so many details I had missed.
The Rabbit family's indoor toilet (tiny pellet turds everywhere!), Mr. Dragon sitting comfy on a pile of coal, Mr. and Mrs. Fly live in a giant poop, and the Chicken family receives a parcel that "is a bit worrying" - some of my favorite details.
