"The film follows noted environmental advocate, photographer and polar traveler Sebastian Copeland through his intensive training before embarking on the two-month, 400+ mile trip on foot across the frozen ice cap with his partner Keith Heger. From personal reflections to last minute preparations, the story shifts when the two men are dropped onto the ice, faced with temperatures in excess of -50F degrees, alone for milions of square miles, and armed only with their courage and determination." -- Cover.

Wonderful documentary film. I found the music too loud and the singing very annoying!

Ranks right up there with another film made by National Geographic called "Cameramen Who Dared". But this film goes much more in depth. It has beautiful photography and as well it is educational ... and inspirational.

Copeland's a little egocentric, but his challenging journey provides a unique view of a frozen extreme arctic ice-scape.

I would recommend this movie for all to see. Well worth the price of admission to any theater.

Award winning photographer, filmmaker and environmental advocate Sebastian Copeland and his partner Keith Heger dare a dramatic expedition to the North Pole by foot (400+ miles) in -50F temperatures in 2 months. Gripping.
