"The newest, highly anticipated novel from beloved #1 New York Times bestselling author, Colleen Hoover. Sometimes it is the one who loves you who hurts you the most. Lily hasn't always had it easy, but that's never stopped her from working hard for the life she wants. She's come a long way from the small town in Maine where she grew up--she graduated from college, moved to Boston, and started her own business. So when she feels a spark with a gorgeous neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid, everything in Lily's life suddenly seems almost too good to be true. Ryle is assertive, stubborn, maybe even a little arrogant. He's also sensitive, brilliant, and has a total soft spot for Lily. And the way he looks in scrubs certainly doesn't hurt. Lily can't get him out of her head. But Ryle's complete aversion to relationships is disturbing. Even as Lily finds herself becoming the exception to his "no dating" rule, she can't help but wonder what made him that way in the first place. As questions about her new relationship overwhelm her, so do thoughts of Atlas Corrigan--her first love and a link to the past she left behind. He was her kindred spirit, her protector. When Atlas suddenly reappears, everything Lily has built with Ryle is threatened. With this bold and deeply personal novel, Colleen Hoover delivers a heart-wrenching story that breaks exciting new ground for her as a writer. Combining a captivating romance with a cast of all-too-human characters, It Ends With Us is an unforgettable tale of love that comes at the ultimate price"--

Well written with believable dialogue & a good storyline but it's much too long. Part One & the letters to Ellen are much too slow & much too long. The issue of domestic violence is well-handled.

"Naked truths hurt" loved it read it for my book challenge and I'm hooked. Surprising turn of events, turns the "typical" love stories into something else.

I waited many weeks in line for this book and was so disappointed. Right from the very beginning the situations did not seem natural and Lily was not really believable.

This is the first book I've read by Colleen Hoover and it was great! I found myself having a hard time putting it down because I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I was sad when I finished the book just because I wanted to storyline to keep going :0( but I'm looking forward to the next Colleen Hoover book I've picked out!

I loved this book. So many issues are brought out dysfunctional families, physical abuse, love, forgiveness and courage. I couldn't put it down and highly recommend it.

I cried. So. Much. Colleen Hoover has a real talent for developing characters that you can connect with. Even though I've never experienced what these characters are going through myself, I felt like I did.

An Insightful 5 Stars!

Whew! This was a tough read. I can usually barrel through a CoHo book never wanting to set it down. With It Ends With Us, I actually had to take a few mental health breaks. Waiting so long to read this one after so much social media attention, I thought I had a handle on this story's trajectory. Wrong! Every other chapter, my thoughts and speculation veered. There wasn't one moment in this book that was predictable. With a satisfying and somewhat bittersweet conclusion, this author proved she had a story to tell and I just had to trust her storytelling journey. Poignant, witty, romantic, and heartbreaking, this was an insightful story that will resonate with many. It certainly did with me.

This book is great and unlike anything I've read. The story line, the characters and the way Colleen Hoover made these characters come to life make this book impossible to put down.

If you found the love of your life, but not everything was perfect how many times would you forgive. How far would your limit change? How many times could you accept the same apology? Lucy had her greatest times in her life change in a quick instant.. A mistake.. Or was it a mistake? This book was one I couldn't put down. A story line I haven't come across before and a new subject normally not talked about. Great smooth writing style by author.

Atlas x Lily (#1)
Ryle x Lily (#2)

Lily hasn't always had it easy, but that's never stopped her from working hard for the life she wants. She's come a long way from the small town in Maine where she grew up - she graduated from college, moved to Boston, and started her own business. So when she feels a spark with a gorgeous neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid, everything in Lily's life suddenly seems almost too good to be true.

Ryle is assertive, stubborn, and maybe even a little arrogant. He's also sensitive, brilliant, and has a total soft spot for Lily, but Ryle's complete aversion to relationships is disturbing.

As questions about her new relationship overwhelm her, so do thoughts of Atlas Corrigan - her first love and a link to the past she left behind. He was her kindred spirit, her protector. When Atlas suddenly reappears, everything Lily has built with Ryle is threatened.
