As environmental awareness increases and ecological concerns deepen, many of us choose to "act locally" by making improvements in our homes. Organic at Home gives you the basic information and tools for putting an organic philosophy into practice in your home, from the soil and plants in your garden, to the food in your kitchen, to the care of your body. This accessible guide reflects a holistic approach to an environmentally friendly and user-friendly way of living. Read it from cover to cover or simply select from among the hundreds of ideas. Unlike other publications, Organic at Home stays away from the costly aspects of environmental living, focusing instead on creating a healthier lifestyle that is practical and cost-effective.
