I remember reading this for fun back in 7th grade. If you're a fan of dystopian books, then this book is for you!

Many of the themes and topics are a lot more darker than many current books like the Catching Fire/ Hunger Game books and are more realistic in their approach of politics, crises, and socio-economic classes.

Keep in mind that this is Carrie Mac and a lot of her books deal with older issues, so just take heed. But still, a great read in my whole-hearted opinion.
