This was probably my least favorite book so far in the series, I was a little disappointed.

There's no point to this.

First rule of Bite Club: No one talks about Bite Club...

The quirkiness and a lot of the humour was missing from this book, as compared to earier ones in this series. Hope she can pick it up in her next book, otherwise, I'd say it's time to put these characters to rest and let Claire go to a real school. There's always a point in Rachel Caine's series where the story lines start to say, time to let these people go. Maybe it's time to let her leave town and someone else can take up the vampire fighter banner in this world she has created.

Bite Club is an action-packed, no-punches-pulled installment in the Morganville series!

When I started this series I LOVED it, now it feels a little predictable. If there is going to be more in the series, I honestly don't know that I would read them. Probably. Out of curiosity. But they wouldn't be bumping anything to jockey to the top of my "to read" list. Think its time to start another Caine series!

I really liked Bite Club, mostly because it was really fast paced and really entertaining. The characters are continuing to develop, along with their relationships. However, I'm really losing my patience for the Shane/Claire couple. I'm sort of over Shane, he's mostly just becoming a pain and an angry jerk. Weirdly enough, Myrnin is growing on me a lot and I'd almost like to see him and Claire get together. WTF right? I know so weird, but this book really opened my eyes to how awesome Myrnin can be. I love these books, each one keeps me hooked and ready to read the next one!

I agree with Starz3211766 if your just gonna rip on Rachel caine's books then just don't say anything at all. And why would you bother to read them if they're soooo terrible?

@arcus52 I disagree.. I actually like Ms. Caine's books and if your going to make her sound bad, youre just saying that to basically every author. Every author is about the same format. In case you didnt notice, writing styles throughout what education they got and what time of history they are in.

Me on the other hand, I love all of her books :)

In Morganville, advertisements for a fighting class with a vamp instructor are circulating. Shane is excited about this chance to really test his fighting skills, but Claire has other issues to think about. A smelly guy named Doug is murdered a few hours after he steals some vampire blood samples, and Claire knows that there's some experimenting with vampire blood going on in her crazy town. When Shane's behavior starts altering, she has to wonder whether her boyfriend might not be under the influence of some substance...or some person.

"Follow me," Myrnin said. "And do stay together. And by the way, this is the last time I go anywhere with you people. You are all insane."
