(5 stars) Loved this book, despite Danny being one of the leads and getting the details about what The Dentist did and how he thought (serial killers freak me out). I was really prepared to dislike Danny, purely because of my love for Izzy, but he won me over a bit and his relationship with Jenkins makes a bit more sense now. Still, I'm glad that Jenn handled things at the end the way she did. I'm normally all about my tidy HEAs, but Brockmann handles the complexities of real relationships so deftly that I don't mind when tangles take a little longer to work out. I'm super bummed by the author note at the end, saying that the next novel is likely the last in the Troubleshooters series. That aside, the story was fast paced, with plenty of suspense and touching moments.
