We usually expect Cook to delve very bluntly into conspiracies involving medical technology, and "Charlatans" is thus a little out of character. As the title implies, the issues here are a more nebulous host of questions regarding truth in the medical field (concurrent surgeries, patient control over procedures, basic qualifications for practicing medicine), and more importantly about life in the age of social media - how simple is it for us to re-invent ourselves with "sockpuppets" and multiple profiles, and where is the truth about who we are?
