Jon Scieszka is a genius and a crusader. A former teacher, he knows that some boys need more than just a good book to get into reading. They need humour, they need gross, they need humour and gross. So Scieszka has rounded up a bucket load of male writers to write about their experiences reading, or in some cases, their childhood. All of the stories are short. (In some cases there are illustrations and comics from people like Mo Willams.) This would be a great bathroom book for the reluctant reader in your house.
