A semi-disreputable Bible story gets the romance novel treatment. Minuses: a Disneyish heroine, with everything but the twittering bird friends circling around her head. A peculiar script that maintains, among other things, that ancient Greeks and Jews believed that all men were created equal. Pluses: authentic-looking locations and extras. A couple decent performances, including James Callis as Haman, who somehow can't forget his entire tribe was slaughtered. Peter O'Toole and Omar Sharif, though, sadly, not in the same scenes.
